CRIAP IN PRACTICE
There are many factors that affect the performance of a baler. In northern European countries, such as the Netherlands, periods of high rainfall often occur. Harvesting is therefore almost always under pressure of available time. The carrying capacity of the soil and the moisture of the product can also strongly fluctuate.
Despite this, the baler must always perform well. As soon as conditions allow, the baler should be able to bale super-tight bales at maximum capacity. This can be done with either a lighter (from 70 hp) or heavier tractor. CRIAP’s Dutch builders have grown up with all these factors and have implemented this in the baler’s design.
The result is the CRIAP MIDI-BALER 85, made to perform qualitatively and consistently under high pressure.
CRIAP ROUNDBALES
Size
CRIAP makes bales of a preset size, through a fixed bale chamber. CRIAP bales are about 85 cm wide, have a diameter of about 85 cm and weigh around 100 kg. These features make CRIAP bales the absolute favourite of horse-, sheep- and ‘hobby’ farmers, among others. The bale size fits perfectly through any stable door and, moreover, no heavy equipment is needed to move them.
Quality
CRIAP bales are high-density pressed and tightly wrapped. Oxygen thus gets minimal hold on the product, which prevents the growth of mould. This extends the shelf life and quality. This is vital for both the animals and the farmer.
